My Papa And Auntys Birthday

On the [10th of october 2020] firstly it was my papa and aunts birthday.For the birthday we are having a hangi I woke up and I had a sore tummy. And when Jairus,Nani and My big brother got up and I had some scrambled eggs For breakfast. After that we all cleaned up the house and my sister Nani and me went outside with our aunty Jenny to peel the potatoes. Jaurs and my big brother raked the leaves to the garden.When aunty and my sister finished I had to whas the pumpkin and the potatoes. Secondly my mom rose and my dad sonny came with pamela,peter,and their new born baby. Then my aunty Jenny smoked the pork,meat and my sis defrosted the chicken when they finished. We all relaxed.The rest of the fam came and the kids had to set up outside. And that's when my aunty uncle came with their kids and papa and aunty we all said happy birthday and greeted them. Later our nana said a cook island/maori pray. Finally it was finished. I loved the hangi,it was a nice day. I liked the way that we sat outside in the sun, laughing and eating together. It will always be a beautiful, wonderful memory. Luckily at the end we went into the garden and took photos before we went home. So we can look back at this awesome day.

Kia ora my name is Nyse and i am 9 years old and i go to Tamaki primary my favourite food is kfc and mac’s my favourite sports is rugby and netball also soccer and my favourite game to play is fortnight.

My culture is Cook Island Maori and Samoa and my goals at school is to get better at maths. Also i have 2 brothers and i am the only girl. My favourite subject at school is all and in lockdown i learned how to be humble and to help my mom to clean and get my work done fast and i am a year 5 and the people that inspire me is my fam.
