WALT: conduct a science experiment to  Learn about how a heart pumps blood through the heart and the body.

What Do i already know about the heart? 

your heart is about the same size as a closed fist it is a strong muscle. Your heart just sits in the left of the middle of your chest.Your heart never stops working your heart beats slowly as you sleep. When you wake up and start moving it beats faster your heart is hollow which means it has empty spaces. The spaces fill up with blood. There are two sides of your heart,the left side and the right side your heart pumps blood. You can feel your heart beating in the blood vessels your heart usually beats about 90 times a minute. And the heart has 4 chambers   

What do I need to conduct this experiment? 

Jars (3)	Straws (2)
Tape	Balloons
Water	Scissors
Red Dye

What do I want to find out? 

I want to find out how the blood processes through the heart and how the heart connects to the vanes. And how the heart functions. And How the heart pumps the blood through the body.     

Method:  I will take to complete this experiment 

1. Add half a cup of water to the jar and add your red diy 

2. Cut the balloon halfway at the bottom and then the other half you put over the jar and make sure its tight  

3. Make to little holes and put the 2 straws into the small hole

4. Put the 2 cups beside you and then put pressure in the middle of the balloon  

What do I predict will happen? 

What actually happened?  explanation : it went terrible and so annoying because whenever we poked the holes in the middle of the jar on the balloons it pops the whole thing.2 because whenever we put pressure  in the middle it just doesn't go up into the straw and into the cup and then pop.

My Papa And Auntys Birthday

On the [10th of october 2020] firstly it was my papa and aunts birthday.For the birthday we are having a hangi I woke up and I had a sore tummy. And when Jairus,Nani and My big brother got up and I had some scrambled eggs For breakfast. After that we all cleaned up the house and my sister Nani and me went outside with our aunty Jenny to peel the potatoes. Jaurs and my big brother raked the leaves to the garden.When aunty and my sister finished I had to whas the pumpkin and the potatoes. Secondly my mom rose and my dad sonny came with pamela,peter,and their new born baby. Then my aunty Jenny smoked the pork,meat and my sis defrosted the chicken when they finished. We all relaxed.The rest of the fam came and the kids had to set up outside. And that's when my aunty uncle came with their kids and papa and aunty we all said happy birthday and greeted them. Later our nana said a cook island/maori pray. Finally it was finished. I loved the hangi,it was a nice day. I liked the way that we sat outside in the sun, laughing and eating together. It will always be a beautiful, wonderful memory. Luckily at the end we went into the garden and took photos before we went home. So we can look back at this awesome day.

Friday it was a bright sunny hot day when the ball rang Mrs. Tafea said “we are gonna make otai now”. I was extremely excited. Then we sat down to do the roll. After that we were told  to line up to go to the hall. We walked down to the hall. First  Mrs Tafea got a big container then she pour  in the Ice and the two big Milk cartons . Then Mrs Tafea told the  boy’s to peel some of the apples. Next Mrs tafea pour in the pineapple juice . The boy’s finished  peeling the apples Mrs Tafea pours the peeling apples into the container then Mrs Tafea mixes it  with the brown sugar. After that you can drink the delicious Otai.
